Sky access

Hi everyone, i thought if all of us that need sky banded together, got access, it would bring untold wealth & hapiness to the LS, not just for gods, but for farming too, sky is great for items and gil making, whaddya say??

What are the requirements for sky access?

ZM's done up to 12.

then i better get cracking. i'm on the ZM after the tonberry fight in the temple of ugly ... whichever one that is.

I am really far behind on these and the last couple of parties I was in after we lost the candy wanted to party in areas that required sky so if there are enough people that want/need these or are willing to help with them, I would be happy to start organizing times to get them done. If you need these and could let me know where you are as far as mission we can get this working.

You're on ZM5 dio, the one where you need to collect a bunch of headstones a few of which spawns a NM.

ifrit's cauldron(well it's in the jungle really but you need to go through IC to get to it), sanctuary of zitah, behemoth's dominion and cape teriggan are the ones that spawn NM.

the others dont spawn NM so they can be done solo. cloister of frost, la theine plateau (through ordelle's cave) and west altepa (through quicksand caves).

and one you get after you finish ZM4.

Quicksand caves you need a party to do since it involves these weird towers you need to activate then run like mad to the open door.

Gunner and I both need the fire headstone fight.

yeah, ZM5 wasnt too bad it was just really long. Also depending on the group it can be more fun with friends than a pick-up party, just have to move in a group.

here are the ways to the solo ones for you dio.

the one in fei'yin (cloister of frost) : this will be alot easier if you had a map by the way, when you enter fei'yin head to G-9 and go down the stairs, then continue to I-5 to enter the cloister of frost. remember you will probably need sneak at some points, think only the golems aggro sight but they can be avoided easily. If you dont have a map of fei'yin Im sure ffxiclopedia will have one or some other site. headstone is at the back of the cloister of frost.

the one ine la theine plateau : head to ordelle's cave using the entrance at F-7 in the canyon, when inside head east to I-6 then you should end up changing maps then head down the tunnel south-west to G-8, when at G-8 go east then take the south tunnel at H-9, head up the stairs and keep going south to H-11/12 and drop down the hole there.

head east to another tunnel and try not to fall off any cliffs, when you reach I-6, head south and keep going till you reach H-9 and you should see a tunnel the breaks off to the west (take that path I think), continue past the bombs till you zone into la theine again. follow the canyon to the end to find the headstone.

the one in QC : head to J-9 in west altepa and enter QC, head up to K-6 and drop down the sandpit there and follow the path until you zone out to west altepa again, then head south-west to H-8/9 through the tunnels to find the headstone. will nead sneak/invis under Lv65.

sorry if the directions are bad, I got these from ffxiclopedia so you can check there for better info/maps. hope this helps you out abit.

Had any luck with the Ifrit's cauldron map Rez? I get hopelessly lost in there.. since I never go there until absolutely have to. Always play a mage job and around every corner something is ready to kill a white mage. I would like to get through these and I know a few others would as well.
