Moving.. irl

Well, Gunner and I will be moving on Feb. 22nd. We will be off the internet for a while.. Still not sure how long at this time. We gotta have the internet set back up over at the new place. Over the next week you will be seeing alot less of me as well. I will be packing EVERYTHING. Nothing like last minute.. Good thing Gunner is taking 2 weeks vacation to help me.

I just want to warn everyone of my abscence ahead of time. Hopefully we will be back on around the 25th at the latest, but I highly doubt it. All I know is it should be sometime before the end of the month. They have yet to confirm my appointment.

Tomorrow is the Move-in day. Internet is supposed to be back up same day. ::crosses fingers:: I'll try to pop in and say hi, but may not have the time. All the closets are empty. Now I need to tackle my kitchen stuff... Everything has gone pretty smooth.. so far. Well I hope to see everyone real soon. Take care.

Well... Internet connection is crap here. The "right" plug is in the wrong room and since we are too far from the "local box" our DSL will only work in the bedroom. Which means only Gunner has connection until we haul the whole retardedly huge PC and tower to the bedroom. I guess I can perch it on my dresser for now. We are supposed to go pick up a wireless something or other to change that, but Gunner is just sick of dealing with customer service and other idiots.

We were originally told we would just need a little splitter plug from Radio shack. Well.. the moron there gave us a DSL filter not splitter. It filtered our the DSL signal... Eh.. w/e atleast these places are close by.


The rest of the move went mostly uneventful. Not including Einstein flying away and me having to climb to the roof to get him back. Stupid little sister didn't listen when I said HOLD HIS FEET, DO NOT LET GO AT ALL!! Little bastard tricked her. As we opened the door to leave she had him on her hand holding his toes. He says "Owww" just as we open the door. I hiss at my sister to HOLD tighter.. he's trying to trick you. We get all the way to the car and she goes to set him on her shoulder before getting in the car.. Instantly he called out to Gunner and was flying.
Well.. enough I'm rambling.
The rest of the house is getting together great. My kitchen is mostly unpacked. (I'm LOVING my new kitchen.. so much room.) The kids love their new school and teachers.

Well hopefully tomorrow we can finally get this internet hassle finished with and we can be back on soon. Gunner is going crazy.. He want to go on campaign battle and soon.

Ok... That should be it. We got the whole thing set up and going... We had it all setup then the p/c didn't recognize the keyboard or mouse. It would scroll sideways and only use shortcut keys on keyboard...
I was ready to launch the pc and all it's random crap right through the window off the balcony..

It's working now. Now to test my FF connection. ::crosses fingers:: please don't let it have gone retarded
