extended AFK

hey, just a quick note to say that i probably won't be on the forum much over the next two weeks. tonight my laptop keyboard stopped working and while i am typing this now to you using a USB keyboard, my lappy is doing some crazy shit on it's own so i won't be using it much. i DID, however, just order a brand new laptop from dell and it's estimated to be shipped on the 8th of september. wish me luck!

oh, btw ... in case anyone is wondering what happened to my laptop, i figure i'll tell ya and give ya a laugh.

i was sitting there in front of the television, leveling THF and drinking beer and i went to reach for said beer and *clink* *fall* *spill* ... beer right into the keyboard of my laptop. of course i freaked out and started sopping it up with whatever i had handy at the time, quickly shut down and turned it on its side to hopefully drain/dry. couple hours later i turned it back on, it made some funny beeps and when i tried to type, the [spacebar] [shift] and certain random letters and/or numbers wouldn't work, of which one of those numbers was part of my log on password for my computer and i couldn't log in.

so, long story short, i grabbed my usb keyboard, plugged it in, it works, but makes funny noise at times and i'm afraid i'll start smelling smoke.

so, that is what happened with my laptop. my initial post was kinda vague, but this is actually a good thing b/c now i'll have a new computer that can do everything that my old p.o.s. couldn't. i may even have a mule account so i can sell shit while i am gone. wheee.
