News Flash: Three New Expansion Scenarios Announced at Vana'diel Festival 2008! (11/22/2008)

Vana'diel Festival 2008 was held today in Tokyo, with a multitude of spirited fans bringing the JCB Hall venue to life. None of those in attendance were able to hide their surprise and delight as the announcement was made for the confirmed development of three new expansion scenarios. In addition to this delicious piece of news, fans were treated to an appetite-whetting preview of the upcoming December version update, and much, much more. So wait does that mean they are releasing all 3 or that those are the 3 expansions they are considering?

I think they're releasing all three, at various periods of time.. but it's not like the expansions we're used to.. basically just kind've added story-lines.. or basically more missions and gear.. least that's the way I saw it

That's awesome...can't wait til they do. They gotta catch up with WoW since they just released their new expansion..

FF already has more expansions than WoW =p and probably a lot more stories to tell as well. People just like Wow better because it's easier, doesn't offer a challenge.. nyah

even if these 3 new ones are stories only, wich i'm sure they are, it offers an even larger variety of things to do/see then WoW, and having spent almost 9 months on WoW, i'll agree with Sui, its ALOT easier then FF, BUT FF is still the one that has the most "FUN" value to it, and with the level sync and other improvements that SE has made, things with FF just keep getting better and better. WOO GO SE!! haha

very interesting indeed, can't wait. I've actually never played WOW, seen it and never liked it for some reason. besides I've been a hard core FF fan for quite some time. FF XIII FTW!!!! now that's a title i can't wait for.
