Pandemonium Warden, one of the deadliest creatures to ever threaten Vana'diel, has been defeated for the first time ever! The Warden had remained undefeated since his introduction along with the new Aht Urhgan Notorious Monsters in June 2008. doesn't surprise me that apathy was the LS to beat this ... i just wonder if they shoved anyone out of the way to do it like they're used to doing.

It's great it was on our server and everything, But... From reading the posts it wasn't a clean win, They exploited the games programming and used 3rd party tools from what I understand.
So woohoo it can be killed, I'll just wait until somebody kills it legitimately then I'll bother with the /cheers.

many people argue saying that their strategy was legit. i agree with you, however, galen. i think they cheated, imho, but i guess SE doesn't think so as they've displayed this article on their POL website.

i'm not a big fan of apathy anyway. they're always stealing our dynamis zones and they absolutely refuse to work alongside other linkshells and give way when someone else already has a zone scheduled. they care about NOTHING but themselves and, i'm sorry, but i've no room in my life for people like that.

yeah, they beat pandemonium warden, but they're a collective of "no-lifers" who probably live in their parents' basement and don't have to work, pay rent or buy food. where's the trade-off? i am actually proud to say that i did NOT beat pandemonium warden, b/c at least i know that i'm not a freakin game nerd with nothing better to do than get the very best virtual gear. do they even have fun anymore?

I dont seehow SE can even credit it. Considering SE get out the banhammer for using windower. The fact they used the /logout method and then a windower plugin to chat to say it's safe to come back in. In my eyes is cheating.

so error in games program + banned application = definately cheating.

Also on an off note why doesn't the playonline website give us any info. The article isnt there on the europe section only Us. Happened when ToAU came out Tal kept sending me the links on the Us pages.

i've never liked Apathy, there snob;s lol and they always have been, to hell with Apathy, who cares what they do or "accomplish" they dont do ANYTHING legit at all, and never have, so crew em lol well thats my opinion anyway

I am shocked that SE is even acknowledging their "win" considering most the tactics used are against the TOS. Kinda stupid if you ask me.. You bann anyone else but a big group of asshats beat some stupid boss using methods that would normaling get people banned and it's all good.. Wonder how many GM's they got in their guild? I was told my SE at one time that even using any kind of vent would be against the TOS and would cause me to be banned from the game for third party programs. Just shitty...

gm's in there? hell they must have SE emplyoee's directly, how else can you get away with blatant CHEATING when any of us normal gamer's (full or part time) would get our accounts deleted on the spot had we done the same thing, FAIR? I THINK NOT!!!

I was surprised to see it posted on the playonline website, to be honest. Everyone pretty much knows they use bots to claim their nm's and crap. They throw away a lot of the gear they get because most of them already have the stuff. I don't think I can say too much more than has already been said about this. Somehow I'm sure there were more than a couple members of Apathy banned in that sweep through that happened not too long ago about people exploiting that glitch. Know a lot of Exodus did, and they're pretty much the same kind of people.

from my understanding, hardly anyone from apathy got touches in that recent banning. it's a shame, really, b/c if anyone in this game deserves to be banned, it's people like them. they're inconsiderate of other players at all times and really make this game hard to enjoy for a LOT of people.
