this, in my opinion, is pretty damn cool and probably one of the most original and interesting things SE has added to the game. if you haven't read it yet, i suggest you do so.

Yea that's kewl but then again they're drawing focus away from other things that need attention and say if I go back to lvl 15 with my hauberk. It'll prolly even be shit tastic for that lvl.

I see it as a great way for the Ls to play together more frequently.

i really only see positive sides to this update. and yes, galen, that's exactly what i was thinking. now we can have LS parties mo matter the level and i think that is something that would help bring the members of the LS closer. i'm excited for this update.

Yeah, was definitely loving this part of the update. Hell, how many times have you found yourself saying DAMMIT, no gear for that level and I don't wanna buy any neither >.> Granted your present gear reduced to that level may be not so great, but it's still gear and still better than going in their naked.. A generic exp party is probably gonna get the most use out of this though. Hell, it'll probably become mandatory no matter what the level range. Ah well, s'good ^^ Makes me wonder though.. if you're 44 and level to 45, will you get the weapon skill ups if you're stick at 44 by it, or will you have to wait for the sync person to level up to 45 to get those skills?

From what I understood noone lvl til the target person lvls. when they do if youve already lvl'ed then you lvl but your stuck at 45 til they lvl.

It didn't state anything about ability's. I would guess they would be limited to the targets person's level. And that would included weaponskills.

I think this is the best the best improvement they could have made to the game and in my opnion has ever made. I believe it will change the game darstically. No more not being able to find a whm in you low lvl pt's for this Ls. We have tons. Too bad my noble's will probablly lose the mp refresh effect.

When is this set to update?

this is slated for the september update but, as has happened int he past, it could be pushed back for "further testing." i really can't wait for this. i think the weekend of the update, we should all just pick our favorite jobs, no matter the level, and make an LS party and sync it to the lowest level in the party. i think it will be fun!

I see complications with overcamping of XP zones coming from this. Everyone is going to want to try the new sync feature for themselves so there will be more XP pts around. And then many players will have LS pts causing longer invite times for people simply LFP.

Very true about the people that are just LFG but since when did SE give a damn at the single player and care more about the people that gang up? In this game they reward you for working with others in a close group not random people. Or some random ass coud lott on the item you need.

For friends, this is gonna be great.. for random pt's I can see a lot of fights and new search comments going up requesting only parties at their levels so they can make full use of their abilities, gear, and abilities.

I am very excited about this. I stopped playing because I got tired of waiting on an invite for so long. I think it will make getting parties together that much easier.

I think the wait for an exp pt is why alot of FFXI players had to quit. Not everyone has 8 hrs for a game and spend 3-4 just trying to get into a pt.

I love leveling in party that has lots of talking and laughing. It's the mute jerks that make me run screaming from an exp pt. Or the pulling machines. No talking just kill.. BLAH.. i want to laugh and joke too.
