When I heard This i was shocked. 25,000 People, Everyday!? As I thought about everything that I have; food, clothes, a house, a computer, FFXI, an everything else that we as Americans take for granted i was wondering what i could do to help what skills, and resources do i have to help some person in need and save just one of those 25,000 people. I was talking to my friend one day, her name is Alex and she is one of the smartest people i have ever met, she told me about this website called freerice.com. At first i thought she was making fun of me, that is what she calls me "Rice", then she told me that is is a website that go to and do small vocabulary quizzes on and for every word you get correct this website donates 20 grains of rice to the UN WFP, World Food Program. I was thinking what is 20 grains of rice going to do? but then i decided to research and look up some info on it and the amount of food that you can send to people all around the world while playing a very enjoyable and educational, for you parents out there, game was staggering. - Quote :
